Deine Aufgaben - Gestalten, mitwirken und teilhaben.

Konzeption und Redaktion der Print- und Onlinepublikationen für das Musikfest Berlin und Jazzfest Berlin gemeinsam mit der Festivalleitung und der Kommunikationsabteilung

Redaktionelles Beraten von Festivalleitung und Redaktionsleitung bei Themenfindung und Konzeption verschiedener Medien

Erstellen von eigenen Texten für Print- und Online-Publikationen

Verfassen von Texten für Websites, Programmhefte, Flyer, Anzeigen, Newsletter, Social-Media-Beiträgen, Interviews und Bildstrecken

Redigieren von Pressetexten in Absprache mit dem Pressebüro

Recherchieren und Akquirieren von geeigneten Autor*innen sowie Überarbeitung von deren Texten und Beiträgen

Konzeption, Planung und Umsetzung von Kommunikationsprozessen/Produktionsplänen für die Publikationen und Kontrolle der Umsetzung

Bildrecherche, Bildauswahl sowie Klären von Bild-, Film- und Textrechten inkl. Durchführung von Honorarverhandlungen

Betreuung von externen Dienstleister*innen (Autor*innen, Grafiker*innen)

Unsere Anforderungen – Das bringst Du mit.

Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Bachelor, FH-Abschluss) in Musikwissenschaften oder verwandten Studiengängen oder gleichwertige Kenntnisse, Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen in einem Kultur- und Festivalbetrieb

Mind. 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in vergleichbarer Position im Kulturbereich

Umfassende Kenntnisse im Bereich Klassischer und Neuer Musik sowie Jazz

Exzellentes Sprachgefühl und Textsicherheit

Erfahrung in der redaktionellen Planung und Konzeption, Kenntnisse im grafischen und herstellenden Bereich

Kenntnis von Kulturthemen und deren audiovisuellen Darstellungen in digitalen Medien

Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Organisationskompetenz

Sensibilität für die besonderen Belange einer gemeinnützigen Kultureinrichtung sowie die Bereitschaft zu Wochenend- und Mehrarbeit

Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch auf dem Level C2 gemäß GER

Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office und Digital-Anwendungen

Our requirements - what you bring with you.

Completed university degree (Bachelor, FH) in musicology or related fields or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience in cultural and festival operations.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position in the cultural sector.

Comprehensive knowledge of classical and contemporary music as well as jazz.

Excellent language skills and text security.

Experience in editorial planning and conceptualization and graphic and production skills.

Knowledge of cultural topics and their audiovisual representations in digital media.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Sensitivity to the specific concerns of a non-profit cultural institution and willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Language skills in German and English at the C2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Proficient use of MS Office and digital applications.

To conceptualize and edit print and online publications for Musikfest Berlin and Jazzfest Berlin in collaboration with the festival management and communication department.

To advise the festival management and editorial leadership in identifying and conceptualizing various media themes.

To create original texts for print and online publications.

To write texts for websites, program booklets, flyers, advertisements, newsletters, social media posts, interviews, and image series.

To edit press texts in coordination with the press office.

To research and acquire suitable authors and revise their texts and contributions.

To conceptualize, plan, and implement communication processes/production plans for publications and to monitor their implementation.

Image research, selection, and clarification of image, film, and text rights, including conducting fee negotiations.

Supervising external service providers (authors, graphic designers).
